172 AAV 7 with upgraded Armor Survivability Upgrade

AAV Survivability Upgrade (AAV SU) program was an initiative to enhance force protection, underbelly blast resistance, and water mobility for the legacy fleet of Assault Amphibious Vehicles, though the program was ultimately canceled in September 2018 in favor of shifting resources toward the new Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).
