I made this spool holder mainly because I needed something simple and strong enough to comfortably hold a **3 kg filament spool** without needing bearings, rollers or lots of extra parts. It turned out pretty well, so I thought I'd share it here. :) The holder is designed primarily for **3 kg spools**, but the diameter also works with regular **1 kg filament spools**, so you don't need a separate holder for smaller rolls.
