A round ornamental disc with a smooth domed boss at its centre, ringed by a wreath of raised, teardrop-shaped petals. The flat circular base sits about 58 mm across, making it a compact decorative roundel. Antefixes were upright ornaments fixed along the eaves of Greek and Roman roofs to close off the ends of the cover tiles.
