Art Deco Stepped Skyscraper Table Lamp Model

An Art Deco table lamp model shaped like a setback skyscraper. A tall fluted shaft rises from a three-step square plinth and narrows in four stepped tiers, each topped with a projecting cornice, to a slender needle spire. Setback towers with soaring spires defined the Art Deco skyline of late-1920s and early-1930s New York, and their silhouette was copied in lamps, radios and clocks of the period.
