This base set is primarily designed for Bushido, but it can also be used with other skirmish or battle board games. The arc markers can serve several purposes, but they were initially designed to indicate firing arcs and lines of sight. They can also be used to assign specific colored arcs to different teams or units, making it easy to identify their respective fields of fire or areas of effect.
