Blimp Airship Hanging Ornament

A small rounded blimp made to hang. The smooth teardrop envelope has a nose cap, four angled tail fins, a gondola under the belly with window panels and a single propeller at the back, and a round hanging loop on top for a cord, ribbon or hook. Non-rigid blimps keep their shape through internal gas pressure rather than a frame, and since the early 1900s they have been used for patrol, observation, advertising and aerial camera work.
