A calm lion faces forward from the center of a richly decorated round medallion. Its mane frames the face in neat, flowing locks, and the surrounding border is packed with baroque acanthus scrolls, finished with small pointed ornaments at the top, bottom and both sides. This formal design suits entry halls, fireplace overmantels, furniture panels and classic architectural decor.
