CATRINA

La Catrina is a skeletal figure adorned in elaborate attire that often mirrors the fashion of the upper class from the early 20th century. She is commonly depicted wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sometimes embellished with flowers and feathers. Her skeletal face is adorned with intricate makeup, showcasing ornate designs resembling both joy and sorrow. The combination of these elements reflects the duality of life and death in Mexican culture.
