Christmas Tree Gnome with a Star — Scandinavian Tomte

A Scandinavian-style gnome built as a Christmas tree: a tall conical hat rising to a five-point star finial, pulled down so far that only a round button nose and a wide fan of beard show beneath it. The body is a ribbed knitted sweater. Three simple, bold shapes stacked into one silhouette that reads instantly from across the room. The photographed copy was printed in wood-fill with a dark sweater, but it looks just as good in a single colour or in classic red and white.
