This project was developed to address a recurring issue observed with the IT 158 TS transport incubator model: the breakage of connection pins for O₂ lines and breathing circuits, as well as the difficulty in finding connectors compatible with the hoses used on the equipment. It was also observed that, during use, nursing staff sometimes had to make improvised modifications to the connectors to ensure proper hose attachment.
