Long, spoon-shaped petals radiate from a small eight-petal rosette in the center, and on the left and right a pair of curled volute scrolls tucks in between the petal tips. A slim raised rim and an inner ring complete the classical look. The scrolls give it a period feel suited to traditional mantels, panelled doors and furniture fronts. Carve it in hardwood with a CNC router, produce it on a resin or PLA printer, or make plaster casts for painted moulding work. Finish it in antique white or so…
