A straight strip of dentil moulding: a row of evenly spaced rectangular blocks (dentils) standing in a recessed channel, backed by a raised fillet along one long side. The strip is 96 mm long, 32 mm deep and about 12 mm high, and is a light, low-polygon model. Dentils - literally 'little teeth' - are the small square blocks that run in a band beneath the projecting cornice of Ionic and Corinthian buildings.
