Settling onto a rocky perch, this eagle grips the stone with both feet while one wing is still raised high behind its back. The head turns left in profile with a strong hooked beak, and the layered feathers on the chest, wing and tail are deeply grooved. Patriotic displays, hunting lodges and outdoor-themed offices all suit this dynamic pose.
