FitzHarris Castle

FitzHarris Castle was a small Norman castle near Abingdon in Oxfordshire, England, built in the late 11th century. The site consisted of a raised earthen mound, known as a motte, protected by a surrounding moat. A keep once stood on the mound, but the original castle buildings no longer survive.
