The icing on this one is not painted on, it is built in: a 1 mm RAISED bead follows the whole outline, exactly where you would pipe it on a real biscuit, so the ornament reads as gingerbread even printed in a single colour. If you do have a second colour, it is a clean one-height swap. The eyes and the three buttons go the other way - engraved into the surface - so they stay legible against the raised bead instead of competing with it. Base plate 4 mm, 5 mm over the icing.
