A common sight across the UK from the eighties, when they replaced concrete designs, they provide ready access to salt and grit for spreading on roads when icy. Four versions are included; lid closed, lid open, lid missing and lid dented. They are sized for N gauge, but can readily be scaled to OO, TT or whatever.
