Gus, also commonly known as the Prisoner, is one of the three iconic Hitchhiking Ghosts who appear at the end of Disney's legendary Haunted Mansion attraction. He is easily recognized as the short, dwarfish ghost with a long white beard, dressed in rags, and shackled to a ball and chain. Along with his spectral companions, Ezra (the Skeleton) and Phineas (the Traveler), Gus materializes inside guests' Doom Buggies as they exit the mansion, attempting to "hitch a ride" home with them.
