Holly Wreath Tree Ornament - Leaves Overhang the Ring, Open Centre

The obvious way to build this is to emboss holly leaves onto the face of the ring. It does not work: an 8 mm band can only carry a leaf 8 mm wide, so every leaf comes out clipped into a rectangular badge. Here the leaves are part of the OUTLINE instead - six of them, serrated along the edge, overhanging the ring on both sides the way they do on a real wreath.
