Huascaran (6,768m) is the highest peak of Peru and of the entire tropics. It rises in the Cordillera Blanca of the Peruvian Andes, inside the UNESCO-listed Huascaran National Park, and is crowned by glaciers that feed the Santa River valley below. Its name honours the Inca ruler Huascar. This 3D model captures the mountain's twin summits and steep glacial flanks from real terrain data.
