A rounded bowl inspired by the Linear Pottery culture (Linearbandkeramik, or LBK), the first farming communities of central Europe, around 5500-4900 BCE. LBK pots are named after their incised band decoration of lines, curves and spirals, and the deep rounded bowl with a slightly closed mouth is one of their most typical shapes.
