Description: A carved lotus-petal pedestal for the Lord Murugan standing statue, modelled after the stone and bronze bases of South Indian temple sculpture. Layered petal rims and a beaded moulding band give it a traditional finish. The base is designed to take the feet and the vel staff of the lower section, so it works as a stand and a display plinth.
