A small megalodon tooth from the back of the jaw. The preview shows a short, squat crown that slants strongly to one side, fine serrations along the edges, a smooth band (bourlette) and a wide, rough-textured root, so the tooth is about as wide as it is tall. It is modelled lying flat and is about 6 cm long at 100%. Otodus megalodon was the largest known shark, living from about 23 to 3.6 million years ago.
