Methane (CH4, CAS 74-82-8) — a free educational 3D molecular model for teachers and students, by MolGod.org. Instead of colour coding, every sphere carries its engraved element symbol. Methane is a chain molecule with no ring: 4 bonds (all of them single) connect its 5 atoms. Use the engraved letters like a register: call out each element and tick it off until the class reaches 1 C + 4 H (5 atoms altogether).
