A sculptural candle holder built the way the bookend is: Michelangelo's David is left completely intact and stands on an added plinth, and the function lives in the plinth - a candle cup at the statue's feet, like an offering. The 22 mm cavity seats a standard taper candle with 3 mm+ walls and a flared mouth, and the cup stands clear of the sculpture (nothing touches the statue). Prints about 240 mm tall.
