Mount Roraima (2,810m) is the most famous tepui — a giant table mountain rising from the rainforest where the borders of Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana meet. Its sheer sandstone walls climb hundreds of metres to a flat summit that inspired Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Lost World.
