This modular Nissen Hut construction set allows the modeler to create several different types of Nissen Hut. Designed in World War One, the Nissen Hut is the predecessor to the better known Quonset Hut. One characteristic that sets the two apart is that the Quonset hut forms a 180 degree half-circle, while the Nissen hut inscribes a larger semi-circle, giving more head clearance toward the side walls.
