The North Carolina class Battleship was a pair of fast battleship constructed for the United States Navy in the late 1930’s and early 1940s. The class were armed with nine 16 inch main guns and 20 5 inch secondary turrets. The pair served in WW2 and North Carolina was preserved as a museum ship in 1962.
