A life-size vintage hand mirror, about 200 mm long. The oval frame is edged with a row of raised beads around a recessed mirror panel, a small bow ornament sits at the top, and a smooth turned handle flares slightly at the end. Hand mirrors with decorated frames were part of the classic dressing table set, often matched with a brush and comb in silver, enamel or celluloid, from the Victorian era through the 1950s.
