A tribute to the greatest Captain that ever lived: Space is vast, cold, and infinite, but for a generation of viewers, the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D felt like the safest place in the universe. That profound sense of security did not come from deflector shields or photon torpedoes; it came from the man occupying the center seat. Captain Jean-Luc Picard a diplomat, an archaeologist of the human soul, and a moral titan navigating the stars.
