Planet Earth tactile model for the blind

This is a tactile 3D model of the planet Earth made from topographical data obtained by NASA. The model was created using Jordi Burguet’s Mapelia software (https:// github.com/jordibc/mapelia).. The North polar cap is smooth; the South Polar cap contains the logo of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Valencia.
