Planet Mars tactile model for the blind

This is a tactile 3D model of the planet Mars made from elevation data obtained by NASA’s MGS mission. The model was created using Jordi Burguet’s Mapelia software (https:// github.com/jordibc/mapelia) and kindly revised by Garrett P. Carder from See3D. The North polar cap is smooth; the South Polar cap contains the logo of the University of Valencia Astronomical Observatory.
