Planet Venus tactile model for the blind

This is a tactile 3D model of the planet Venus made from topographical data obtained by NASA’s Magellan mission. The model was created using Jordi Burguet’s Mapelia software (https:// github.com/jordibc/mapelia). The North polar cap is smooth; the South Polar cap contains the logo of the University of Valencia Astronomical Observatory.
