This is an adapter that allows a standard garden hose connector "gardena" to be connected to a 3/8" BSP fitting. It's main purpose is for flushing the paint (fluid) line on an air pressure pot paint sprayer. It may fit other things and purposes but that's up to you. You'll need a standard male hose connector seal (7/16 ID - 5/8 OD) to finish off. It doesn't seal perfectly (you get a small trickle out the connector) so I'd advise cracking the tap just enough to get a bit of water flowing through…
