This model is representative of the PC&F "Red River" pattern log car. This car was used by many Pacific Interior logging companies, cutting 12 to 16 foot logs and stacking them on the car in two stacks. Units were used throughout the interior of Washington, Oregon and California and were used by the Pacific Great Eastern Railway in British Columbia for lease to logging companies along the Lillooet to Quesnel corridor.
