Reef Niche is a rugged rock alcove with a wide arched front and an open skylight cut through the top, so light drops straight into the chamber below. The open roof keeps the interior visible from above while the deep side walls still give fish a proper enclosed niche, and the heavily textured rock face gives shrimp plenty to graze.
