Fourteen deep flutes. Grips with oily or gloved fingers, which is why it belongs on machines rather than on a desk. Takes a DIN 934 hex nut M6 from the back - the thread is steel, not printed plastic, so it survives being done up hard. The bolt runs right through, so its length does not matter.
