Roberts' Linkage - Triangle Straight-Line Mechanism Desk Kit

Richard Roberts, the Manchester machine-tool builder, found a linkage in 1860 where a triangle rides on two equal rockers and its tip runs along a nearly straight line, right between the two fixed pivots.
