Sassanid War Elephant

War elephants are animals-turned-weapons, trained and guided by humankind to charge their enemies and disrupt formations. They also created a good amount of terror in those they moved towards. The Sassanians used War Elephants against their Roman enemies in many engagements. Most famously, Shapur II harrased Emperor Julian's army to near destruction. Sculptor: Thai Ngo
