Twelve shallow scallops, the edge of a coin. Grips with a fingertip and stays quiet on a front panel. Takes a DIN 934 hex nut M10 from the back - 17 mm across flats. Careful: M10 nuts come in two widths, and an ISO 4032 nut is only 16 mm and spins in this pocket. For that one take the ISO version of this knob.
