This project requires welding, 3 axis cnc machining, and 3D printing capability. For the entire seat frame construction I used 1 inch diameter steel tubing with a 0.065 in wall thickness and 1/4inch plate steel. The clamp block that attaches to the underside of the scooter is machined out of solid aluminum stock and uses M8 bolts with 4.5in thread length.
