Sherlock Holmes Pointing down, head bowed - London - 1888

Sherlock Holmes stands leaning slightly forward with his head bowed, studying the ground. His left arm hangs low with the index finger pointing down at a clue. The right hand is held at chest height and grips a pipe. He wears a deerstalker cap, an Inverness cape coat worn open, a buttoned waistcoat, a tie, trousers and laced shoes. The mood is a focused crime-scene examination.
