Sealant enters through the funnel, flows around a tapered central dome, passes five angled ribs, then recombines in a long annular channel and leaves through a 1.2 mm continuous ring — roughly the thickness of a coin. The dome sits over the screw head and stands 2 mm proud of the outer skirt, so it touches the sheet first and holds the nozzle square. The ring is deposited exactly on the ring of surface the cap will clamp, and nothing is wasted on top of the screw where it does no sealing at all…
