Slatted Ration Crate STL - Vintage Supply Box Prop

A closed rectangular supply crate with horizontal slots running along all four sides between the boards, and a lid made of three raised battens laid across the top. The crate is hollow inside, and the slots open through the walls. Wooden crates were the standard way to ship rations, ammunition, tools and spares, both in wartime and in civilian trade. Slatted and ventilated designs let air circulate around foodstuffs, and stacks of crates became a familiar sight at depots, docks and field camps.…
