Dead center on this round disc sits a coronavirus-style particle, its textured core ringed by club-shaped spike proteins that project outward in crisp relief. The rest of the surface is broken into irregular, slightly raised stone plates with fine cracks running between them, as if the world around the virus were fracturing.
