Seven parallel slots, 2.4 mm wide, cut right through the plate at a 14 mm pitch. Lay the plate on rolled pastry, polymer clay, thin leather or paper, run the blade down each slot and you get seven strips of exactly the same width -- no ruler, no re-measuring between cuts. The raised fence along the back squares the material up before you start. Be clear about what this is: a template you cut THROUGH, laid on top of soft material.
