These fit the U-Joint portion of the shifter linkage taking the slope out of the shifter. I didn't need to replace my other bushings but and these were absolutely perfect. Make sure to not to over tighten your bolts. These should a very tiny bit of friction, enough to flop around under their own weight, you can crank your bolts too tight and you won't be able to select gears from inside the car.
