Tavern scene (1) barmaids and Patrons

Food has been central to human life for thousands of years. In the medieval period, patrons would eat at taverns and inns both in their town and when on the road. These became gathering places as well as a place to get something to eat. They also could be a locus for trouble, as it seems one of the patrons portrayed in this set has upset a barmaid.
