Three points on a round body, joined by straight tangent flanks. Unlike the soft three-lobe knob the fingers find a stop at once - the grip for things that must be done up firmly. For the 18-tooth knurled 6 mm shaft - the metric one, found on most imported pots. Press-fit, no screw.
