Turcopoles

Ethnic Turkish and other local forces were sometimes put into service by the Crusader states during Outremer's existence. These forces, whether Turkish or not, were called Turcopoles. Functioning as light cavalry, they were armed and supplied by the Crusader Kingdoms which they served. Sculptor: Thieu Duong
