Around the rim, twelve pointed petals with gentle center creases open like a star. Inside them sits a busy core of small rounded petals stacked in rings, closing on a beaded collar and a tiny button, so the middle carries most of the visual weight. Mount it as a ceiling rosette, a door or drawer applique, or a framed wall piece.
